One of my 'rules' for sharing my music is to NEVER discuss my personal views on religion or politics.
However, I must say one thing...regardless of how we feel about our involvement in the Middle East, I think we all hope for the safe return of our soldiers to their homes and families. Every day for them is filled with danger, fear and uncertainty. Each of them has a family that loves and cares for them, and most are aware of the public divisiveness that is highly publicized around the world.

For starters, at DefendAmerica (http://www.defendamerica.mil), you can participate in an online thank you card to the military. As of this writing, 6.7 million people had signed. Just enter your name and location to send your thanks.
Operation Dear Abby dates back to 1967, when Sgt. Billy Thompson wrote to newspaper columnist Abigail Van Buren, asking for a letter from home as a Christmas present. The Pentagon was concerned about getting so much mail to the troops, so Operation Dear Abby (http://anyservicemember.navy.mil) has been moved to the Internet. This site asks you to choose a military branch, then gives you space to type a message up to 1,000 characters. At the site, you can also read heartfelt messages left by others.
There's nothing like a telephone call back home. You can help make that happen with Operation Uplink (http://www.operationuplink.org). Run by the Veterans of Foreign Wars, this program provides military personnel with free calling cards. Operation Uplink distributed 900,000 cards in the last few months. You can make contributions over the Internet with a credit card at the organization's site.
Stars and Stripes is a newspaper which serves members of the military overseas. It is printing in the paper greetings to individual GIs. The messages can be e-mailed to Stars and Stripes 24 hours per day. They must be 50 words or less, and will be printed on a first-come, first-run basis. All messages will be screened and may be edited. E-mail notes to: messages@estripes.com
Messages of Support to Army Reserve Soldiers (http://www.army.mil/usar/expresssupporthere.html) is online message board where you can post a note and read those left by others. If you have someone who has been called up by the Army, or if you just want to show support with more than your name, this is a good site.
As a direct result of the FLORIDA TODAY article, I am happy to say that Katherine and I have been asked to play COLUMBIA FAREWELL live on stage as the closing number to the Southern Womyns Music Festival in Atlanta, GA in May along with the video I put together. I hope it moves the 1000 womyn who are scheduled to be there, as much as it has moved those fans and listeners who have played and purchased it so far.
I am scheduled to write the first check to the CHALLENGER CENTER at the end of April, and although it won't be a huge one, at least we will be giving back to the families and science programs.
Special Note: The Enhanced CD was given personally to the family of Laurel Clark in Arizona last week. I have not heard back, and don't really expect to, but I am very happy that one of the astronauts families have received it.

Well, I am finally teaming up with Katherine Archer to do live performances in ... of all places... SCHOOLS! We have put together some very fun and interactive music assemblies and workshops and are taking bookings right now for the fall school semester.
Grades K-9 are alternately spellbound and hysterical at the antics and musical variety we present in 45 minute presentations all over Florida. Concerts include "Our Blue Planet" (Environmental, nature, animals, recycling), "Under The Same Sky" (Sharing and caring for everyone), "Safety Comes First", "United We Stand" (American Heritage) and even "Songs-On-The-Spot" workshops for students and teachers. Even a Space Program and Ocean Theme are available.
