**Your annual snail-mail newsletter is about to be sent out at the beginning of November.  This is the only mailing I will send out this year.

**Next year I am planning to do about 8 shows in the Wisconsin/Illinois area in Sept, Oct, and maybe Nov.  For sure (If I get in) will be WAUSAU-ArtWorld, MARSHFIELD-Fall Festival, WARRENS-Cranberry Fest, EAGLER RIVER-Cranberry Festival, and hopefully ROCKFORD METRO EXPO.  If you know of other appropriate shows please let me know the contact info ASAP so I can get in my applications.

**By summer I should have at least 2 new albums - Romantic Evening, and Home for the Holidays.  Maybe Michaels "Magical Dreams" will be ready too.  Also all you emag fans will be getting a sample or free download of some new music long before the albums come out.  AND, I am working on some different styles with more rhythms and dynamics (along the lines of Enigma) but still instrumental.  These new pieces would probably not be marketed under the same 'background' music you know and love, but I'll keep you posted.

Subject: FROGGY LOAN
A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her nameplate that her name is Patricia Whack.  "Miss Whack, I'd like to get a $30,000 loan to take a holiday.  "Patty looks at the frog in disbelief and asks his name.  The frog says his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it's okay, he knows the bank manager.  Patty explains that he will need to secure the loan with some collateral. The frog says, "Sure. I have this," and produces a tiny porcelain elephant, about an inch tall, bright pink and perfectly formed.  Very confused, Patty explains that she'll have to consult with the bank manager and disappears into a back office.  She finds the manager and says, "There's a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000, and he wants to use this as collateral.  She holds up the tiny pink elephant. "I mean, what in the world is this?"
(you're gonna love this)
(its a real treat)
(a masterpiece)
(wait for it)
The bank manager looks back at her and says..."It's a knickknack, Patty Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man's a Rolling Stone."

FYI:  #77 On Your Wireless Phone
(Note from Hanai: I checked...this is TRUE)

Lauren was 19 years old and in college. This story takes place over the Christmas/New Year's holiday break. It was the Saturday before New Year's and it was about 1PM in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on.

Lauren's parents have 4 children (high school and college age) and have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather wait until they get to a gas station, etc., so Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called #77 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there where police cars where she was and there wasn't and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way. Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground.... the man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes.

I never knew about the #77 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a "safe" place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them (i.e. put on your hazard lights) or call #77 like Lauren did. Too bad the cell phone companies don't give you this little bit of wonderful information. So now let your friends know about #77.

IF I HAD MY LIFE TO LIVE  OVER - by Erma Bombeck
(written after she found out she was dying from  cancer.)

I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending  the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.

I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it
melted in storage.

I would have talked less and listened more.

I  would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained, or the  sofa faded.

I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and  worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.

I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather  ramble about his youth.

I would have shared more of the responsibility  carried by my husband.

I would never have insisted the car windows be  rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.

I would have sat on the lawn with my grass stains.

I would have  cried and laughed less while watching television and more while watching life.

I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil, or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.

Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and  realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to  assist God in a miracle.

When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would  never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner." There would have been  more "I love you's." More "I'm sorry's."

But mostly, given another shot  at life, I would seize every minute...look at it and really see it ... live it  ..and never give it back. Stop sweating the small stuff.

Don't worry  about who doesn't like you, who has more, or who's doing what.

Instead,  let's cherish the relationships we have with those who do love us.

Let's  think about what we are doing each day to  promote ourselves mentally, physically, emotionally, as we only have one shot at  this and then it's gone. I hope you all have a blessed day.
