Good, because I hope you never have the same problem of dropping your phone in water. As you probably already know, getting insurance for your expensive phone would be a great idea.....except for one thing.....the damage you're likely to suffer (water damage, glass breakage) is NOT covered by most phone insurance! Fat lot of good that policy will be when you need it most! BUT I have talked to Apple Care Specialist and next year Apple will offer a brand new type of insurance: If your GLASS or CASE gets damaged OR if you have WATER damage, you will now be able to REPLACE the phone for a total of only $50!!! (Remember I paid $149) You can replace your phone 2 times for the $50 co-pay. The 'insurance' through Apple Care is just $99 for 2 years of coverage. This is BIG news, but alas, it is only good for the iPhone 4s. However, if you are thinking of upgrading during your next eligibility period, consider the iPhone 4s!!! Hopefully you've cleaned up your Thanksgiving dishes and are ready to get down to business. Be sure to register early as my classes are limited to a total of 5 students. Kind regards,
